I wanted to take the opportunity to provide feedback on my RV Driving School instructor, Jimmy Johnson, and the training itself. The training was excellent and I’ve recommended it to many people since taking it. Although people may practice in parking lots or even venture out onto the road right away, Jimmy took me through many different scenarios. From tight right and left turns, through road work around Jersey barriers, to backing into a spot, to a highway with no shoulders, to town/city driving. With his 33 years as a teacher, Jimmy had the understanding and knowledge to help me navigate our 40 foot motorhome through each scenario until I got it right and felt comfortable. I also liked that my husband was encouraged to come along and see what was being taught and how I was doing. He even learned a few things too. I am so grateful for what I learned from Jimmy and RV Driving School, and I highly recommend it specifically for women so we don’t find ourselves victims…especially in an emergency.Thank you Jimmy and RV Driving School,

The RV Driving class provided a wealth of information pertaining to safe operation of a motorhome. My instructor, Tim Armstrong, did an excellent job of relaying the information in a manner that was easy to understand and apply to situations encountered while driving. Mr. Tim made me feel confident in my ability to handle our 36’ motorhome safely. The 1st day was spent in a parking lot concentrating on backing which is the most difficult thing to do in a motorhome. The 2nd day started in the parking lot covering situations that you encounter on the road. It ended with me driving our motorhome for 2 1/2 to 3 hours on different types of roads/highways. Mr. Tim made me feel so at ease I hardly noticed the weather conditions, which were less than favorable. The information concerning blind spots on a motorhome is invaluable. Mr. Tim was very patient repeating each exercise until I was comfortable and understood the reasoning behind what I was doing. He also has a great sense of humor. I give this class and Mr. Tim 5 stars and highly recommended it to everyone, even experienced drivers. Thanks again Mr. Tim!

I was fortunate enough to take the driving course with Michael Lynch. Michael is an excellent instructor. The exercises we did boosted my confidence tremendously. The “classroom” lessons also gave me a better understand of my rig and how to live in it. Since I am a full-timer I feel this was an excellent investment for my life on the road.I would highly recommend taking this course for anyone driving an RV of any type and no matter how long they have been doing it.

Mike Neill was my instructor. He is a very pleasant man, overflowing with kindness, encouragement, the ability to communicate in a positive way explaining the workings of the motor coach, the correct way to back up, parallel park, turn and most importantly, maneuvering in and around traffic especially in construction zones. Mr. Neill, by performing a safety check on the RV,also discovered that the emergency parking brake was not safe and the sensor for the coolant was faulty also. Mr. Neill more than likely has not only saved our lives but also any damages potentially caused to the RV by this critical malfunction of the emergency parking brake. Mr. Neill was also extremely informative and addressed my concerns on the many aspects of RV travel. I am highly highly recommending The Escapees Driving School to not only first time RV owners, but also to everyone as a refresher course and/or an advanced driving experience. I am truly thankful for everyone involved in putting their time and knowledge together presenting this life saving driving school. May God continue to be with each of you, placing His hedge of protection around you and your families and blessing you beyond belief!!

I took the RV driving course last week and found it very helpful. The instructor knows a lot about RV driving and communicates it well. Since completing the course, I find myself evaluating potential trouble spots from the RV point of view that you wouldn’t notice if you had only the perspective of a car driver. Such as: Wow, this turn would be tough in an RV, or look at that telephone pole right on the curb with a street sign sticking out of it!I’ll be trying out my skills when we make a trip to Florida next month and will be able to give my husband some relief from having to do all the driving.

As someone who spent a large majority of his life instructing thousands of soldiers, I was very impressed with the performance of our instructor. He was able to assess what we needed as individual motorists and what my wife and I needed as a driving team. We recently transitioned from a 32 ft class C to our new 40 ft class A which gave my wife some anxiety about driving do to size difference even though she possessed the skills to operate the vehicle. Our instructor to the time to work with her and was very encouraging in her performance during the training. By the time we completed our class we were both confident in our ability to operate safely on the road and in tight spaces.
We are grateful for the instruction and will recommend this service to our friends and family.

Tom & Eileen C.We thoroughly enjoyed the instruction provided by Mr. Mike Neill. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and a great teacher. He provided us with great information to make our travels safer and more enjoyable. Even though we have been RVing for many years, we picked up a lot of “golden nuggets” from Mike that we did not know. Backing and sharp turns were made easy with his guidance and are now less stressful.
Thanks for developing the school and acquiring great instructors like Mike! We have already recommended your school, and Mike, to our neighbors in our RV park. This was time and money well spent!

I view this as essential training for new RV owners. There is such a difference in operating a RV when compared to driving a car. My instructor was very capable and patient. I feel that my money was well spent on this training.

Phillip Beasley was our instructor for the above referenced RV driving class. Two original Sept dates for the class had to be cancelled due to my illnesses and Phillip was graciously accommodating. As we have been on the road for nine years we both have driving experience, making our RV class curriculum a bit different than first time RVers. Phillip easily adjusted the class to accommodate my driving needs. What I like about the class is that Phillip is thorough in his instruction, very specific in the details of safe driving, light on criticism, heavy on positive reinforcement. This type of teaching works well for me and by the end of the second day we all agreed I drove with ease and confidence.Aside from the class structure, we simply like Phillip. We all got along very well, enjoying each other’s company on a personal level.Job well done!
