Paul Metzinger did a fantastic job with us! He is a superb instructor — precise, clear in his instruction, supportive. He instills great confidence in his students while at the same time holding them to a high standard. In short, Paul’s a superstar!

Michael is very knowledgable and shared his wealth of knowledge with us. The fact that he has over 40 years of experience driving coaches is very very helpful. He has encountered just about every potential scenario. The use of cones was very helpful but I recommend the addition of an additional prop to better envision lanes. We are glad we took the class and will recommend it to everyone. Thx

My wife and I had two days of instruction from Mike Neill in the
Dallas area (lesson L10119). Mike has a lot of knowledge and
experience from which to teach, is a very good instructor, and a very
patient person. We feel that we learned a lot and gained a great deal
of confidence driving our rig, and we really enjoyed our time with
him. I highly recommend Mike and the RV Driving School to anyone
that wants to gain or improve their RV driving skills and confidence.

Neither I nor my wife had ever driven the RV we had just purchased. That made us apprehensive during the first 3 hours of safety instructions. My wife did not drive until second day due to bad weather. So she was especially apprehensive.SuggestionFirst thing, let us each drive the vehicle for 10 minutes in the parking lot to get a feel and releive that anxiety. It is really not that hard – “it is just so big” -and would have put us at ease and made instructuons sink in fasterAgain, Randy was excellent and we both are very glad we invested the time in our safety and better RVing.

I have to tell you, in all honesty, you have a gem in Tim Armstrong. Before we’d even met, he had me calming down (I’ve never driving a rig like this).Tim made it seem like it was the most natural thing in the world to climb into a 40′ Motor Home and drive it!Patience and nerves of steel!! He had a lot more confidence in me than I did! And he was right (of course).Thank you for providing this School. I’ve posted on “Fabulous RV’ing Women” on FB and have received lots of questions and forwarded them your way!!

I want to thank y’all for the instruction I received recently. As a new RVer, I knew I had some learning to do so scheduled a lesson. It was a a couple of months before we were able to get together and I had already made several trips. Even so I felt I spending time with an experienced driver/instructor would help us be more comfortable and confident.
My main concerns were limited space maneuvers, backing and communications between my wife and I when parking etc.
Tom did a great job in zeroing in on our needs. He was knowledgeable, interesting and non intimidating.
I would recommend RV School as a first step in learning to drive an RV.

We are very pleased with the combo class taught by Steve Avant. He is a great instructor, friendly and personable, and patiently and thoroughly discussed the lesson points and answered our questions. His practical instruction included many tips and tricks that help with driving, always with safety foremost. The practical driving and backing exercises helped increase my skills and confidence. My wife, who was wary of driving, is now eager to drive and improve her skills thanks to Steve’s patient, confidence building instruction. The overall lesson content was excellent. We learned a lot about our coach’s maneuverability and capabilities that we we were unaware of before the class. We couldn’t be more pleased. The class was well worth the time, effort, and cost.

I have just completed 8 hours of RV driver training, and I must admit, I feel more ready to drive than I had anticipated. And if I hadn’t done a curb check on my final leg, I would feel really good about it 🙂Matt was a great instructor. He had scouted the area very well, and made sure I had many different experiences. He must be magical, because he also conjured up a snowy day, so I had practice in that, too! He was patient, nice, and very knowledgeable. He allowed me to watch him back up my husband so that I could do a better job when I am the backer, and that was most helpful to both my husband and me. After 43 years of marriage, I finally figured out what my husband was doing with all of his hand signs – and we determined that, since we have a microphone, oral instructions work better. Now that I have taken the course, I understand better many of the complications that can arise with a big rig, and Matt tried to make sure I had experience on hills, curves, narrow roads, traffic . . . the gamut. I drove much of the way home, and although it was only on four-lane highways (but with a cross-wind), I could tell I improved my control of the rig. My husband wasn’t even nervous, which is a good sign. I still need a lot of practice, but I am well on my way to being a competent driver. For anyone who is nervous about driving their RV, I definitely recommend Matt. He did a fine job with me.
