Randy Stanhope did a great job from beginning to end and beyond! This is the thank you that I wrote to him:Many thanks for your kind, patient, informative, calm – and yes – pleasant tutoring! I feel prepared to take over in an emergency – my original goal. However, I am also feeling that I’d like to get more driving experience in general, to build up my skills and confidence level. Here’s hoping my husband will cede a few hours here and there over the next 5 weeks to grant me that wish.More than that, everything went well from the first communication with Randy. Prior to the lesson which had been scheduled several weeks in advance, he checked in with me to ask if I had any questions and to be sure I had all the information needed. He showed up a few minutes in advance of our lessons; had a package of materials for me so that I could make notes as we went through the various stages of teaching; he was patient if I or my husband (who is an experienced rig driver) had any questions during the talking parts of the lessons. He inspires confidence in one’s ability to take on a massive rig and is a patient and precise coach. He uses language to succinctly and clearly convey what he wants his student to learn. Although there were a few moments when my heart rate got up there, his patient and calm presence, skills, and encouragement got me through. He did not push me but rather encouraged me to get more and more confidence in my ability. My husband, who has driven and can maneuver just about everything, appreciated that he learned stuff from Randy, too.Beyond that, he is a genial person with whom we definitely enjoyed spending several hours. Honestly, I’d rather have him over my shoulder while driving than my husband! We are both grateful for this opportunity from RV Driving School, and happy that I’ve gained some knowledge in this fashion rather than in an emergency.

I took 8 hours of training, 4-hours each times 2 successive days. I can’t imagine having started driving without having taken the training first. We have a motorhome that is 36′ and 12’3″ high, and this is our first RV.Michael is a well seasoned driver who handled both the classroom (outdoors!) and hands-on instruction very well and clearly. He never appeared rushed, and was open to all questions.Your course was very helpful and is the start of me getting more confident while driving our RV.Thanks

Thank you for providing this much needed service. My instructor, Les Rodwell, is a great instructor. He was very thorough in teaching me how to safely operate our 32′ Class C. He covered aspects of handling the vehicle in various situations. As a “newbie,” I am much appreciative of some very helpful tips about RVing in general that Les related from his considerable experience in RVing.
Royce W.I just completed my RV driving lessons yesterday with Jimmy Johnson in N. Alabama, and I wanted you to know what a good experience it was for both me and my wife. While I was the driver, she observed and took notes. It was far more helpful for me than I ever anticipated. As a 74 year old, having driven for decades, I didn’t really think Jimmy could teach this “old dog any new tricks” but HE DID. In fact, he taught me many important nuances needed while driving an RV that are simply not used when driving an automobile.
Jimmy’s experience driving both big rig 18 wheelers and delivering Tiffin Motorhomes all over the country made for interesting conversation. Since he was also a retired educator, like my wife, Sandra, they, too, had some great conversations. I mention this to let others know that even though you’ll be spending eight hours driving and another couple hours of class room time with Jimmy, it will not be boring!
Bottom line for me—these driving lessons were worth much more than what we paid. My comfort level and enjoyment level behind the wheel has increased dramatically, and I have no doubt that I’m a much safer driver for my family and others we encounter on the road. Without any reservations, my wife and I wholeheartedly recommend RV Driving School!
Warmest regards,

Just wanted to pass along feedback on your excellent RV Driving School instructor, Phillip Beasley. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up, but Phillip did a great job reaching out to me, asking about my goals, and tailoring the sessions to meet those goals. I’ve been pulling our 34’ travel trailer for a few months now, so I had a bit of experience, and probably some bad habits. We focused our sessions on turning and backing up. Phillip had asked for the dimensions of our storage space so he could recreate that for us to practice. You’ll see that in the last section of this 7-minute video that captures some of my key learnings. https://youtu.be/nGOcJcd0vsYHe also did a great job of including my wife, Olga, in the sessions so that she can be a better spotter and know how to communicate hand signals with me.On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate Phillip a strong 10.Regards,
John B.
This was truly money well spent. Mike was knowledgeable, engaging, patient and an excellent instructor. I felt very comfortable working with him and learning to drive my 42 foot 5th wheel.
My wife and I now have the confidence to start our new adventure. Thank you, Mike, for a great experience. All the best,
Gary P.
On Friday, July 24th, We met your instuctor, Mr. Phillip Beasly for my lesson. It was very informative, and successful. We had a specific need to be able to back into our carport without having to make multiple attempts. We sent him photos our driveway, and carport, along with demensions that he requested. He showed me what I was doing right, and what I needed to change. He also gave me instuction how to back into a 90 degree campsite in tight quarters. We are completely satified. When we arrived back home, I was able to back right in. My wife said we took just over 5 minutes. ( the last time it was 30 minutes) She took two videos of Phillip coaching me. They are attached. This course was well worth the time and money. We highly recommend it.Respectfully, Gary P.

My training was completed this week with Mack.It was his second course teaching for RV Driving School.Mack has 40 years’ experience as a tractor & trailer driver as well as trailer and Class A motorhome driver. He is very patient and has a keen eye to help you navigate the RV.We spent 4 hours on day one parking.Mack taught me left & right parallel parking, backing up, using the mirrors effectively, backing in to tight spots …excellent!Day Two was about city, back roads and highway driving as well as proper shifting of gears … again, excellent.I learned a lot from Mack!!!
Ronald P.Dwight Cunningham the instructor was very experienced because of his years as a bus driver, was adamant about all safety isuues, was patient but turn during the driving lessons. The most important thing i learned was to watch the spotter in the mirrors & ignore the backup cameras. It took me a while to not look in the mirrors trying to see why Dwight was telling me to do this, do that instead of just doing what the spotter directed.
All in all i was satisfied with the instructions given & learned .

George- I wanted to thank you for sending Casandra to the RV-Dreams Rally in Sevierville to be my driving instructor. To say I was nervous is a bit of an understatement. I had driven our tow vehicle- an F450 quad cab dulley a few times since we bought it, years ago I towed a small boat and 2 jet skis but never a 44” 5th wheel with all of our belongings in it… From the beginning of the session, Cassandra came across as knowledgeable and experienced and during my lesson, I found her to be not only that but patient and compassionate. I went from gripping the steering wheel in a “white knuckle” fashion to feeling relaxed and confident that I was able to navigate through a great deal of traffic with our behemoth! I would highly recommend Cassandra to anyone interested in learning to drive an RV!!Thank you!
