Paul S.We had a backing up lesson with Mack Mackley Mack was great. He provided detailed instructions, was patient and willing to spend as much time with us as we wanted. Definitely someone who is knowledgeable and able to communicate that knowledge in a clear manner. I definitely came away from the class with the skills I was looking to develop. Five Stars for Mack!!!

We wanted to compliment our instructor, Louis Majoris, for his patient and professional instruction. His shared experience and insights were key to a better understanding of backing and parking our 5th wheel RV. We are very glad we invested in this instruction. Thank you.

My wife and I participated in the RV Driving School last week in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Michael Lynch was our instructor. We are “First Time” owners of a Motorcoach. Shortly after our purchase, I drove the Motorcoach to a KOA campground and I made a mistake turning into the campground that resulted in significant scratch damage to our “New” coach. After that incident I began searching for a driver training program. I discovered RV Driving School. The National Indoor RV Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia recommended RV Driver Training and they provided me contact information for the instructor that lives in Atlanta. I reached out to Michael Lynch and we determined that the best program for me and wife would be the two day program that would allow both of us to become proficient in handling the motorcoach. The program was intense but very – very worthwhile. My wife had never driven a Motorcoach – much less one that was 45′ long. The attached video shows my wife backing the coach following hand signals from Michael. We especially benefited from the instruction regarding use of mirrors and the pivot wheel. In addition, the concept of spotter and hand signals was extremely beneficial. As a matter of fact, when we returned our motorcoach to the dealership and needed to park in a 90 degree spot, my wife served as my spotter and the parking was perfect. I had never successfuly parked the coach prior to receiving the instruction from Michael. My wife and I are much better qualified to operate our motorcoach and on top of that we are going to receive a discount from our insurance company. We are happy to provide additional references.Sincerely

I recently completed my driving lesson, and I had so much fun. I was a nervous wreck both Friday and Saturday, but Randy Stanhope was wonderful. We went over everything as outlined, safety, knowing our RV, basic rules of the road, etc. The first day, we drove around our storage lot where I learned how to get out of our parking space without running over anything, how to turn corners, how to back straight up, and how to park in a simulated camping site.Once I got home, I felt a little overwhelmed with everything and was pretty nervous on Saturday, especially since rain was in the forecast. After we talked more about the RV and more basics, we hit the road. I drove up to a campground we love to go to, which is about 20 miles away. There are two campgrounds on either side of a Forestry lake. The south campground is closed due to a lightning strike, so I drove in and turned around. The north campground is a little smaller and you have to cross two very narrow one way traffic bridges. I warned Randy that they were narrow, but he didn’t really believe me about just how narrow. My husband said he wished he’d taken a picture of Randy’s face when he saw the bridges. I safely negotiated them, and when I got past the second one without dragging a mirror off, he said “You passed.” We laughed. He’s the best He’s very knowledgeable about all aspects of RVing and made me feel comfortable. I know both my husband and I learned a lot from him. I feel very confident that I can drive the RV. BTW, the reason for the lesson was my husband was diagnosed with cancer when we were on a camping trip 7 hours from home in May 2019. Of course, I couldn’t come home anyway at the time because he was in the hospital for one month. He wanted me to be prepared in case anything else happens when we’re on the road.I can’t express enough how valuable this lesson was. I can’t wait to hit the road in the very near future. I may fight my husband to get behind the wheel.Best regards,
Kathy M.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased and satisfied we were with the RV Driving Lessons and additional assistance that Clyde Tew provided us this week. (Lesson L11204 February 04 and 05, 2021) Clyde was an excellent instructor and with his guidance an encouragement me both learned all the necessary skills to comfortably operate, park, and understand the basic operation of out Diesel Motorhome. With Clyde’s guidance and the on-road practice, we finished the lessons with a great deal of confidence in our abilities and excitement about the journeys ahead. Clyde was so knowledgeable and pointed out to us tips we would never have though of and provided a thorough understanding of the mechanics and maintenance necessary to safely maintain the coach.I can’t thank you all enough and would highly recommend Clyde as a driving instructor and coach. Thanks so much!

Tim Armstrong gave us our tuition money’s worth many times over.
He said from the beginning that he was ours for the entire day if we needed more instruction time on any area. He was as good as his word. On both days, he went into overtime: teaching, answering questions and reinforcing what he’d already taught. We never felt rushed. In fact we were the ones who told HIM when class was over.
At the end of the day, he gave us his business card with instructions to call anytime we had any questions. We knew this was a sincere offer because we’d heard him return calls from ex-students who’d called with questions.
We wouldn’t hesitate to refer RV School to anyone if all the instructors are of Tim’s caliber.

So glad that my wife took the driving lessons with RV Driving School. As first time RV owners, starting our RV experience with a class A motor coach was very intimidating to say the least. We gave truth to the old adage, you don’t know, what you don’t know. Our instructor, Michael Lynch, was great and patiently worked with us from our knowledge level as beginners. By the end of the course, we both left with a new set of skills and knowledge about how to safely drive and operate our motor home. We’ve got more to learn for sure, but I know that we now have the skills to safely and confidently drive our coach, and that our skills and abilities will only improve with driving time and experience. Great program and great instructor!

We’ve been full timing in our 39’ 5th wheel for 2 years, and I’ve been doing all the driving. I had always meant to get adriving lesson but didn’t. After a few dents, and challenges backing into tight spots , I wanted to accelerate my learning. My wife also wanted to start driving, and my advice to her was that it’d be safer to start out with a lesson.
So we signed up for the lesson with Brian. It was great that he came over to the side of Tucson we were staying, and the first day met us at our site.
We each spent a good portion of the lesson building the skills to back up. It was hard work, and taking turns frequently was the way to go. Even Brian was surprised how slow our rv responded, but he helped us figure out the what and when of various backing scenarios. We learned when to focus on getting the 5th wheel in position and when to focus on the truck.
My wife used most of the driving around town/interstates, and by the end of the 2nd day was surprised how well she had done. I learned that a lot of what I was doing was fine, but my confidence and competence took a big step.
Proof of the pudding was today for me. We moved from Catalina sp to McDowell mtn regional park. I wasn’t looking forward to backing in. It was angled a bit but the road wasn’t wide and they have curbs next to a fairly narrow entrance to the site. We now speak the same language when backing up, a big help. I started backing up, knew right away I needed to move a bit more toward the center of the road, so repositioned and started again. For the first time ever I was able to back in without having to pull forward at all. We were in the site within a few minutes. I’ve had it take me 30’ before. Much much less stressful than before.
We know we have a lot to learn. We have got plenty of things to practice, and we can keep getting better. In 2 weeks it’s my wife’s turn to drive, and she feels ready.
Best money we’ve spent since buying the rv! We’d recommend the lesson highly!
Brian listened and observed well, was professional, patient and an effective trainer!

Good afternoon. In response to your request, I would like to thank and commend Joe Powell, our instructor, for an outstanding job. During my wife’s portion of class we had cold, wet conditions to deal with but everything went off without a hitch. Thanks and we’ll continue to recommend your school to newbies, as well as some seasoned drivers I’ve already seen that could use some serious help.Have a great year,
Bruce and Mary Lou B.
Dick C.I had my two day class with Randy, After our first day I said to my wife that today alone was worth the price of the course, I thought Randy was an excellent instructor . He was very knowledgeable and quite patient with me. I certainly feel that my time and money were well spent. Would highly reccomend this course to anyone.
