Hello Mr. Mayleben,  I am writing to tell you that I have completed my RV driving course and cannot thank Randy enough for his calm and encouraging teaching style.  A month ago my husband suffered a heart attack and fall that caused a concussion, consequently he has been placed on a protocol that prohibits him from driving for awhile.  I probably could have gone my whole life without learning to drive our 33 ft Tiffin RED motorhome but my husband’s health emergency has made me realize the importance of having more than one driver.  Randy was kind enough to rearrange his schedule to accommodate me and I am proud to say that, with his help, I feel comfortable that I can safely maneuver the behemoth.  Being an older student and female, Randy adapted his lesson to my specific needs.  He is very good at what he does and I can’t thank him enough for his encouragement through the entire process.  I would highly recommend Randy to anyone wanting to learn how to safely drive their (or their husband’s RV).  Thanks so much,

Evelyn R.

I finished my lessons with Chris Jones in Howell MI today. I had a wonderful learning experience and can highly recommend him as a teacher. He is personable, knowledgeable, professional, kind, encouraging, patient and a good teacher. He took us down some very challenging roads and was very accommodating. This may not be my place but I hope you are compensating him as he deserves as he could easily start up his own business, he would not have trouble finding customers.
Thank you for the opportunity to improve my very limited rv pulling and maneuvering skills. We had a very nice experience.

Thank you,

I wanted to send this feedback on the training course that my wife and I recently took with Mack Mackley.

For context, we picked up our new rv TT the day before our training sessions. I had some experience with boat trailers before, but nothing that blocked my rear view like this rv. And it had been a while since I pulled a trailer. My wife had never pulled a trailer before.

We both cannot speak more highly of Mack’s professionalism and wealth of knowledge.
His calm and positive demeanor facilitated our learning, and his sense of humor kept us stress free. We still have more practicing to do on our own, but we traveled 250 miles home, including crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in light fog, and parked into our storage facility with confidence. We are now looking forward to our rv adventures with confidence. Thanks for all your your help Mack!

I have attached a photo of my wife and Mack after he guided her into a parking spot from a 90 degree starting position. She later did the same at our campground!

I want to thank Joe for his skilled instruction. Both Mike and I feel more confident in our ability to drive our RV safely. Joe’s time and effort spent walking through the RV dos and don’ts as well as his observations and recommendations on things we needed to check out were invaluable. We highly recommend this driving class for anyone who owns an RV. Thank you!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day of driving lessons with Tom Peckenham. The main objective of the lesson was for my wife to learn how to drive and become comfortable and confident driving the RV. Tom did a fantastic job teaching her and was very patient and low key to his approach with her. The additional objective was for me to learn the nuances of backing up, Tom again did a fantastic job in this area giving me pointers and with several tries at it I feel much more prepared and comfortable backing up our 40′ rig,

We highly recommend Tom to anyone looking to learn how to drive their RV or enhance their skills.

I had an awesome experience with your driving school. Steve M was my instructor and he could not have been more patient and calm. I learned so much and I am now confident when driving the coach.
Thank you and I highly recommend you school!

Thanks,

I took my driving class with Glen Barlow this past week.  Glen did a great job with me.  He was very patient and quickly identified my short falls.  He was willing to adjust his methods to accommodate my needs.  I learned a lot.

Wow! I was terrified to go to Driving school! Almost cancelled at the last moment but so happy I didn’t! I learned so much in the classroom section and was thankful my husband was able to also sit with me in both the classroom and driving portion of my class. Driving went really well and and I had enough time to become comfortable with our 40 foot DP. As full timers I know it is important for me to be able to drive in an emergency and will do it periodically to keep my comfort level up. Thank you for offering this program and for having such calm and knowledgeable instructors. I have recommended it to everyone I talk with and proudly wear my pin!

I recently signed up to take the 2-day Driving course and the Get to Know Your RV add-on.  My instructor was Max Cook.  Max was courteous and professional from our initial contact setting up my lessons until the final day.  He was flexible around my schedule which I sincerely appreciated.

My RV is a Class B Van, and I am familiar with driving the vehicle.  Max showed me how to properly set up my sideview mirrors, and confirmed that my lights and blinkers were working properly.  He observed my driving on side roads and the highway and offered tips and techniques for dealing with windage, safe following distance, allowing space for the vehicle to stop and the benefit of stopping every couple of hours to stretch and walk around.  RV traveling is not always about getting from Point A to Point B in the least amount of time.  For me, it is about seeing the countryside on the journey to where I am going and arriving safely.

My main goal was to get to know my RV as I have a fear of propane gas.    Max did not minimize my fear, he sought to put me at ease by showing me how the appliances work using the propane.  This meant covers came off and the inner workings of the appliance could be seen.  He reassured me that there are safety features in place to keep me safe.  Most importantly, he was very patient with me and allowed me to ask questions until I was satisfied I understood what he was trying to teach me.

Should I ever choose to upgrade to a larger RV, I would not hesitate to contact RV Driving School and set up a driving lesson and a Get to Know your RV add-on.

Sincerely,

Short and to the point in my feedback.

The class was good and could be great if presentation of the slides can be provided as well.

The thing that mattered most is that my instructor Bill Anderson is surely an Instructor’s Instructor!

I and anyone else who was a part of his lessons are a much better driver/person because of him.

The entire staff that I was fortunate to be around during my time for RV Backing, Driving and Basics was truly caring, personal and insightful on so many levels.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
