As a business owner myself, I am obsessed with good customer service.  I have to say that the service that we received from Dana Baker and RV Driving School was among the best I have had from any company.  Dana’s friendliness, driving skills, listening skills and flexibility made the experience far more enjoyable than we expected it could be.  My wife and I walked away with the confidence to take our new Class A on a trip anywhere safely – turning our “beast” into our new “baby”.

L11734: I took a two day, 4 hours per day driving class from Mr. Michael Lynch in the metro Atlanta area. The course was very informative, and Mr. Lynch is a personable and professional teacher with tons of driving experience. The class was very profitable for me.

Originally, I had scheduled the two-day 6 hour class for me and for my wife; but because of her health issues and the improbability that she will ever be the driver of our 43′ long Class A motorhome, I changed it to a class only for me. Mr. Lynch was very helpful in assisting us to make that change before the lessons began, saving us some money and eliminating time that would have been used to teach something that would likely never be an issue. I’m glad I had the opportunity to learn from this professional driver.

I had a wonderful experience with Instructor Jimmy Johnson. He was very prepared and communicative. After spending 8 hours with him, most of it behind the wheel, I feel that I am confident to drive my RV in most traffic and road situations. He was patient and provided clear instructions and feedback. I appreciate very much his knowledge and expertise and am very happy that I chose to take this course.

Jimmy Johnson is a fantastic teacher.  I have never pulled a travel trailer (TT) before and had significant anxiety going into the lesson.  By the end of day 2, I had much more confidence.  I was able to back up and park the TT on day 2 with Jimmy’s excellent instructions.  My husband already had experience pulling a boat but learned so much from our two day lesson.  I felt secure enough to drive half of the distance back to Birmingham (1 hour).  I highly recommend Jimmy Johnson as an instructor.

Randy was awesome.  His help, instruction, patience, ‘procedure creation’ and most of all his encouragement made the training enjoyable and will make me a safer more confident RV driver.  His training and information that was provided will certainly help with our future RV’ing.  He suggested making an adjustment on our hitch which definitely made an improvement on how my truck handles while towing our 12,000#  5th wheel.  Additionally, our storage location has a number of challenges (that’s putting it nicely) and Randy went above and beyond and developed a ‘procedure’ (I am from a procedurally controlled industry, in case you could not tell by now)  that would be repeatable and allow easier parking at our storage location.  We used it the next day and we were able to park our RV in < 30 min’s
Thanks again for Randy’s help.

Just some quick feedback about our training experience.  Mike Wertz was fantastic!!  He is a great communicator and explains driving skills and nuances so that students can understand and relate.  He is patient and takes his time helping refine new driving skills.  RV Driving School was the perfect decision for us.  Thanks Mike!!

My spotter and I learned a great deal from this training.
Many of the things we took away are INVALUABLE and will keep us safer, going down the road.
These include adjusting mirrors properly, understanding the trailer’s pivot point, knowing how to avoid damaging my truck with the trailer (very big concern of mine), and even the simple phrase, “You can’t control what you can’t see.”)
Our instructor was very professional, knowledgeable and personable.
My only disappointment is that we really wanted to focus on the backing-into-sites skills (it was the reason we enrolled in the training) and I wish we’d spent more time on it. We ended up not discussing or practicing the passenger/blind side backing, although I asked about it, and it was part of the advertised curriculum. I feel that is a definite weak spot now, and will need to figure out how to try it on my own.
Overall, a very solid training course and a fantastic instructor.
Best Regards,
Denice

Joe Kochis was the BEST. I could not have asked for a better match – Army Vet, Man of God and so experienced in RVing.
Joe’s knowledge, expertise and teaching skills were over the top.
My confidence level in parking this beast in a Camp Site Lot is way higher than before the class and I think I can keep us out of trouble.
We leave at Noon today for our first 4 night stay.
A 150% totally enjoyable and valuable experience.
Money well spent……………

Joe was great. I was a little intimidated before the lesson and never having  pulled the trailer before but he made it very easy and very comfortable with hands-on training and lots of verbal explanations. He kept things very simple for me and made the day very enjoyable. The course is well worth taking and should be mandatory for anybody pulling a travel trailer for the first time

My husband and I just finished our lessons with Max in Utah and it was fantastic!!! He is such a good instructor. He’s very supportive of the newbie driver, understanding of what you know and don’t know and very encouraging.  By the time I was done I felt like I could drive my 39′ 5th wheel anywhere, ok, maybe not anywhere but I’m much more comfortable with the idea of driving anywhere, I love the confidence he gave me. He gets 5 stars from me for sure!!!
