Joe Powell was my RV Driving School instructor. His communication from the day I signed up until the very end was clear and concise.  He was direct with his instructions, was quick to complement and used constructive criticism in a positive manner.  I started with being nervous to take the wheel and under his guidance I was able to relax enough to comment about driving my rig and ask questions about situations that I was concerned about.  This was a terrific experience, and I strongly recommend Joe and the RV Driving School.

My RV driving lessons with Aaron far exceeded my expectations. He made an 8 hour driving lesson both informative and fun. I came away with an extensive amount of information and new techniques. Prior to the lesson, my experience driving a RV was limited to the 30 min drive home from the dealer. As a newbie to driving a travel trailer, I was anxious leading up to this and intimidated by my first official rv camping trip.

After our lesson, I feel confident driving in a range of situations and not as intimidated with parking and backing up. I admired Aaron’s trial by fire approach. He purposely put me in realistic expectations but made me feel confident I could prevail. He was relaxed, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. I had a blast and would highly recommend the school and especially Aaron as an instructor to anyone new to RVing.

Ruthie and I are so glad that we invested in RV Driving Lessons with Joe Powell.  We owned a class C RV for about 2 years before purchasing our Class A.  When we decided to invest in a Class A so many people we spoke with said the first thing you should purchase for your RV is Driving Lessons, we are so glad we did!  There is a huge differences in driving a Class C verse a Class A.  Joe was very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in his instructions on how to operate our RV SAFELY.   Joe and the class exceed our expectations in every way.  My expectations was that we would walk away from our lesson with one or two tibbets of information that would save us from some catastrophic mistake.  At last count, our notes had at least 10 driving, safety and maintenance tips that I’m sure will save us thousands in repairs due to Joe’s instruction.   A big thank you to Joe and everything he did for us!

I wanted to write to let you know how happy I am about the quality of the instruction that I received last week with your instructor Dana Baker. I have never towed anything before and was very nervous about learning how to tow my new travel trailer. Dana was very knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. Even when I was struggling with backing up he never got frustrated, he kept encouraging me and continued to work with me patiently. He was able to give me the tools I needed in order for me to feel more confident about my skills. After my second session I was able to successfully back up my trailer completely on my own into my driveway which isn’t easy because of the way the driveway is built. It felt good knowing that I could do that on my own and I know I will become even more confident and capable as I continue to practice and start traveling.
I’m very glad that I decided to take this course and I’m very happy with the results.

We recently bought a 45′ diesel RV to go full-time. My husband had been doing all the driving, as the thought of driving the big beast that will be our home filled me with fear and trepidation.

Over the two days driving training with Bill Anderson, my fears have been conquered, trepidation has been replaced with calm and the voices in my head that were telling me I couldn’t drive the RV have been evicted.

Bill taught me how to drive and back up the RV, even parallel parked the RV a couple of times. Bill also taught my husband how to be my spotter when backing up and parallel parking.

Highly recommend the training from RV Driving School for anyone who drives or tows an RV!

Good evening. My wife and I really enjoyed our two-day lesson and learned an extensive amount. Our instructor, Mr. Ed Planas, was patient and professional. Just for some context, he spent all of last Friday, and half of Sunday, in a Mesa, Arizona parking lot on a 108 degree day helping us learn how to maneuver a single-axle popup.
The following day, he accompanied us to a campsite and helped us set up our Aliner. he also explained how to safely set up the water, electricity, and gas.
We enjoyed the experience immensely and are thankful to have found your school online.
We will definitely recommend the school, and Mr. Planas, to other RVers.
Kind regards,

Geoff Baker exceeded our expectations!

Together my wife and I enjoyed our field time behind the wheel with Geoff in the seat, in the mirror and outside our driver’s window for two days of enlightening and informative instruction.
This class went beyond our expectations. Geoff has effective, impactful delivery of his shared knowledge and experiences.
This course is an investment in yourself for the knowledge imparted regarding your safety and those who travel with you. We both feel more confident and more comfortable about all aspects of maneuvering the 5w.
The seat-of-the-pants instruction covered the whole gammet including how to inspect your road worthiness, interstate entry/exit, fueling and fuel station etiquette, secondary roads and city streets, mirror adjustment and much more.
We discussed other important aspects of RV equipment, function, proper operation and maintenance as well as other pearls regarding travel, etc..
We are both delighted we chose to do this and are extremely pleased with the outcomes to our benefit Geoff Baker provided.
Now we know how to do it the right way.
Beyond satisfied!

My wife and I just bought our first motorhome…a 45′ Entegra Anthem (go big or go home) from National Indoor RV Center in Lawrenceville, GA.  We’ve never had a motorhome, or any other RV, before so just the sheer size was a bit intimidating.  We wanted to know how to safely drive a machine this big and expensive

I want you to know that Michael Lynch is a superb instructor and a great asset to your organization.  His knowledge of big rig driving and experience are tremendous credentials.  He was patient, thorough, professional, and fun for the two full days of learning.  We completed the course on 6/27 and accomplished everything we wanted to learn.  Michael exceeded our expectations and we are 150% satisfied.  We loved the learning experience and will recommend him to everyone wanting driving lessons. Well worth the money!

Things work out for a reason. I had some difficulty getting coordinated with an instructor due to my unit being delivered late and then the dealer having installed a poor drop hitch solution. However, all of this created the scenario where my training was with Randy Keith and it could not have been better. Randy was a great instructor.

Randy was flexible to fit my time requirements, even offering an alternative that worked better than the original schedule. His experience with campers and sharing his stories, created a comfort level with my wife and I around our unit with it being the first one (not counting our popup/tent on wheels unit). His points of emphasis while driving on the roads were beneficial – he provided areas of improvement (i.e. criticism) but in an open non-judging manner such that no offense could be taken. He worked with me on the areas I wanted to stress – backing up and understanding the nuances of pulling a camper.

My wife and I want to do this camping part of our life the right way and this training was a huge step in that direction. Thank you.

Rejoice and Godspeed,

We would like to personally thank you for the excellent training. My wife, Inge, was nervous going into the class as she never drove an RV before. Her instructor, Joe, did a great job of calming her and providing very clear instructions.
He started with the basics in a safe, controlled environment then progressed to final road testing. By the time she took the road test her confidence was high, thanks to Joe. Also, Joe incorporated me into the training for the backup parking. He showed it first and then he had me talk her into the spot. This was very helpful.
Joe did an awesome job overall. His experience in RV driving was an amazing wealth of knowledge for us. He shared 2 pages of links to web sites and clubs that he has experienced over the years. This was very helpful.
We would highly recommend this course for beginners and we would strongly recommend Joe.
Thanks,

Russ L.
