Mark Obtinario is well versed on all things related to extended wheeled vehicles.

We were lucky because we had a full year of RV ownership before we enrolled. Few students probably take RV 101 right out of gate and like them, we waited until we felt it was necessary to get expert RV driving advise. Especially help with backing up our RV!

Day one was incredibly helpful because I am a terrible “backer upper”.

You’ve heard the saying “in the Nick of time”?  Only an hour after day one training, I had to back out our 35’ RV out of a Best Western hotel that had ZERO turn around capability.

We were ready and in the “Mark of time” my wife and I surprisingly backed up our 5th wheel and truck successfully into the collocated two-way road in front of this hotel.

Without any doubt whatsoever, Mark’s training was vital to that success. We’re grateful for his superior truck and 5th Wheel RV backup training.

Day two training was important as we navigated busy streets and a lot of mountain roads.

My wife and I got a lot more out of day one training – that’s not to say day two wasn’t important though.

Please Keep Mark in your “Roledex” of talented RV trainers. He’s REALLY good at this!

With respect

My husband and I purchased our 31′ Gulfstream about 2 months ago.  We were nervous about driving it and scheduled RV driving lessons plus “Know your RV” with Mr. Taylor Riley.  Taylor was very knowledgeable and professional.  He took the time to go over everything with us in detail and explained it in a way we could easily understand.  Taking the lessons gave us the confidence we needed and we are ready to start our new adventure and hit the road.  I would recommend this to any new inexperienced RV owners.
Many thanks

I knew I needed a professional driving instructor to help me build the confidence to tow our 5th wheel RV and by booking the 2 days it gave me the boost I needed to actually do this.  When Steve Medlin arrived at the house on Wednesday both my husband and I were immediately impressed – so was my dog and that goes a long way!

Steve not only gave me the confidence to tow the 33′ 5th wheel but he also shared so much of his knowledge and experience with both myself and my husband which we will certainly put to good use.
The hands-on driving experience was what I needed.  Driving around Colorado Springs yesterday was the best way to learn how to stay between the lines towing an 8.5′ wide RV along a 9′ lane with cars parked one side and heavy traffic in the left lane.  Learning how to take those right hand corners and how to reverse were so valuable.  I never thought I’d be able to back up the RV!
Steve was very friendly, always calm and explained things in very understandable terms.  This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made – not only for me but for my husband.  We really enjoy RV’ing but have been limited by my not being comfortable or qualified to drive.  This has opened up the range of places we can now visit and the distance we can travel.  Also it has given both of us a sense of security knowing that should anything happen to my husband I am perfectly capable of towing the RV home.
My husband says every man out there should make sure his wife knows how to tow!  I’ve certainly let all my friends know that I’ve done this and am pretty proud of myself.  I will certainly recommend RV Driving School and Steve Medlin as an instructor.
Thanks,
Sally

The driving lessons were worth every penny.

Steve approached all aspects with respect and timely instruction. He answered all questions clearly and took time to review each aspect of the lesson. Understanding, checking and using the air brakes was invaluable. The highway time on using the tachometer, speed and engine temperature to maintain safe hill ascents and descents was most helpful.
Thank you!

The purchasing of our RV was not planned and I told my husband that “this was the absolute worst decision we had ever made”.

I totally dispised the beast and had no plans on driving it.

I contacted RV Driving School with the hopes that professional instructions would help my husband get better aquainted with the beast.

Mr. Duane Kunz met us at our home and from the beginning we felt extremely comfortable with him. He is very professional and he has an astute understanding of the fears that some new RV owners have. To make a very long story short, within a few hours of our class,  I was actually driving the “beast’ and by day 2, Duane actually gave me the confidence to drive the “beast” on local streets as well as the expressway.

The “Beast”  is no long and we could not be happier with the purchase of our RV, In fact I love it and this change of heart is directly do to Duane.

Duane gave us a ton of tips on owning and driving a RV, this in is self was well worth taking the class.

We would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Duane Kunz & RV Driving School.

A huge thank you to Duane and RV Driving school.

Thank you for offering the RV Driving School. My instructor, Candace Rivero, was TOP-NOTCH! She was very patient and allayed all my fears about driving such a big 40’ rig. I can now enjoy the experience of getting out on the road with my husband as we enjoy the wonderful USA that we’ve missed for all these years. With Candace’ guidance and training, I learned so much and put into practice everything I learned to develop “muscle” memory. It was a complete joy to learn from Candace and the knowledge that she imparted was extremely valuable! Her experience was second to none. I felt that the money spent for the training was absolutely worth it. Again, thank you for offering a fine course for us newbies that want to be safe while on the road in our large vehicles!
Sincerely,

Our instructor was Jordy Bender, and what a pleasant person he was.
I can tell you from the start that Jordy had to deal with TWO type “A” personalities.
We purchased a NEW 2021 40′ toy hauler with NO 5Th wheel experience at all.
We did have some time in a class A but this was our first tow vehicle.
Jordy was very accommodating and met us at our campsite to start the lessons as
we both were a little scared of the process. and the lessons started quickly.
Wendi and I both were pretty comfortable with the highway driving and some local stuff.
but the tips and instruction Jordy gave us was great and we were both very comfortable after a few hours of Hwy, local traffic, gas fill up etc. we were on our way to the dreaded backing the thing up.
Wendi did well and I was a little under the weather and Jordy dealt with us both in a very professional way. As I think that most people have the scare factor of backing up and parking something of that size. But we went over and over it again and I believe we have the skill set that we didn’t have before to practice on our own. ( Did I mention that it was 107 one day and 109 the next ). and NEVER did we feel rushed and Jordy NEVER complained once !
Did I spend my money well ? Hell yes I say. We have referred Jordy and your company to our neighbors that need a lesson. while i’m going to practice on my own. I have looked at your back up class only and will consider that after a month or so of practice. ( Only because I wasn’t feeling the greatest I think I had more to learn ).
Also the extra information and guidance Jordy gave us at the campground about leveling, positioning in the alloted campsite space and mainly all the safety checks we did were a HUGE benefit to us even after a few years of class A travel. ( the number one job for me is keeping my family safe ). and Jordy helped me to increase my awareness. ( this was an added feature I didn’t expect but appreciate more than he knows ).
I hope I cross Paths with Jordy again because we felt a personal connection with somebody with such a passion for what he does. If not please give Jordy our sincere thanks for a job WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!

I finished my lessons with Chris Jones in Howell MI today. I had a wonderful learning experience and can highly recommend him as a teacher. He is personable, knowledgeable, professional, kind, encouraging, patient and a good teacher. He took us down some very challenging roads and was very accommodating. This may not be my place but I hope you are compensating him as he deserves as he could easily start up his own business, he would not have trouble finding customers.
Thank you for the opportunity to improve my very limited rv pulling and maneuvering skills. We had a very nice experience.

Thank you,

Lori P.
