Mary (the student) and I (ride-along) were thrilled with the lesson.  Steve’s explanations of the “what’s and why’s” were very useful to both of us, and the instructions and directions for Mary were clear.  We truly appreciated the lesson as a whole, and especially, Steve as the instructor.  He was a pleasure to work with.  Mary is confident that she will be able to share in the driving during our upcoming and future vacations.  We’ve already recommended the school and Steve to some friends.

Thank you,

We had a great time with Jordy during our 2 day RV driving course. Jordy is very professional, knowledgeable and beyond helpful! We will most definitely recommend your driving school (and Jordy) to anyone needing to learn how to drive an RV of any type.
Thanks again!

My husband and I were given a lesson on backing up our 5th wheel yesterday in Tappahannock, VA.  Your  instructor, Trent Taliaferro, was very professional and very knowledgeable.  He was very patient and made recommendations for us to practice at home to improve our skills.

We definitely recommend Trent !
Good job.

Upon registering I received emails saying I would be contacted within 48 hours.  I was not.  I am (we are) not the type of people who need our hands held by any means, but assumed we would be contacted.  I initiated contact both times with my instructor, once about a month prior to and one a few days prior to lesson.  NOT an issue but this is the ONLY negative I have.
Otherwise, what a great experience!  Bob was very easy to talk to, deal with, very patient, answered all my questions no matter how insignificant they may have been.  I felt very intimidated by the size of our RV,  Bob did visuals for me in a parking lot which in my case was PERFECT!  Some people learn by discussion some by example, I learn best by doing and seeing results.   I could not have been happier with how it went.
Drive time was next and I did not feel comfortable quite yet.  He let my husband drive into town and into a busier area, I drove out of town and back to the campground.  I felt this was a GREAT solution as I didn’t feel quite ready to tackle traffic yet.   Once behind the wheel, my mind relaxed, and it just all flowed without the stress of traffic to deal with on my first outing.  I had the road to myself (nearly) and had the opportunity to ‘mess up’ if needed without stress of causing any harm to others.
I would happily recommend this class to anyone who is interested and most likely will post my experience on the facebook page for RV’s that I belong to.  I unfortunately don’t have any pictures or videos of my class as I was preoccupied – ha!  In a very short condensed time Bob gave me enough instruction and information to make me feel comfortable enough to take on The Bus.  You’ve got yourself a gem of an instructor with this guy!
The icing on the cake…. on the drive home the hubby commented that I barely made any ‘backseat driver’ comments and that the drive time with Bob was now priceless in his mind!  LOL!!!
Thanks for a great experience 5/5 stars

We recently bought a 45′ diesel RV to go full-time. My husband had been doing all the driving, as the thought of driving the big beast that will be our home filled me with fear and trepidation.

Over the two days driving training with Bill Anderson, my fears have been conquered, trepidation has been replaced with calm and the voices in my head that were telling me I couldn’t drive the RV have been evicted.

Bill taught me how to drive and back up the RV, even parallel parked the RV a couple of times. Bill also taught my husband how to be my spotter when backing up and parallel parking.

Highly recommend the training from RV Driving School for anyone who drives or tows an RV!

My husband and I recently purchased our first RV. My husband was a truck driver and drove tractor trailers in Manhattan, so was totally comfortable with driving the RV, but I felt I should take the class. Boy am I glad I did.  So my husband came with me and for two days our wonderful professional instructor, Michael Lynch was the best. He has over 30 years of experience driving all kinds of big trucks and RV’s and makes you feel right at ease. First I had one on one classroom training in the privacy of our RV, Then it was hands on experience time and for the next few hours for 2 days in a row he had me weaving in and out of cones, backing up, making hard right turns, learning how to back up and park, learning how to parallel part, learning hand signals to help your partner park, and just telling us all kinds of tips that only a seasoned driver would know. He communicates with us via headsets. It was an awesome experience, and I went from feeling uncomfortable to feeling I can do this. (And mind you I’m not afraid of things…I have skydived, bungee jumped etc…but the key is knowing how to handle your situation or object you have to overcome.) So If you want to feel safe on the road, and also for the safety of those riding on the highway with you, I  totally recommend him as an instructor, and the RV driving school. This is a no brainer, instead of spending your money on decorating…take something that can literally save your life, and. your big shiny investment. worth every penny,

I had my lesson with Jimmy Johnson in Tuscumbia, AL, last week.
He came highly recommended by a friend he taught to drive her Tiffin motor home.
My husband and I have owned a travel trailer for many years and tow it with a Ford Expedition. Although familiar with the tow vehicle, I had never actually towed our trailer.  With my husband’s health concerns it became apparent I should learn to tow in case he isn’t feeling up to it.
We both feel so much more at ease knowing I can now do it and plan to share the driving to keep up my comfort level.
Jimmy was fantastic! I still hear his voice calmly telling me how to make that left turn without taking out the guy in the lane next to me! The entire experience was positive!
Thank him for us! My hubby even learned a few things and backing into our driveway when we got home went so much better. He didn’t undo all the good he had done and I was able to direct him as he crawled back into place! Wish we had had that bit of wisdom years ago!
Blessings,

We finished up our two day lesson with Max today. What a pleasure it was to be taken from a couple of newbies to drivers with confidence. Max was a true professional and it was clearly evident that he not only knew what he was doing but he could bring it down to our level. Thank you Max and the rest of the RV Driving School.

The Motor Home driving lessons were extremely helpful.  Mack was great, very patient and really taught me a lot.  Everything was very beneficial. I would recommend Mack as a driving instructor.

I have been a high school Science teacher for 38 years.  For 26 of those years I was the director and lead instructor of the districts driver education program.  I have a masters degree from Miami University in Industrial Safety Education which includes driver education.

I took the RV Driving School class to improve my knowledge and skill of operating a 50’ travel trailer/truck unit.  Learning how to back the trailer into camp sites and our home driveway was a very important aspect.

What I experienced was RV driver education not training.  Mr. Mike Wertz, my instructor is a true educator.  He in every way is a person that understands eduction.  He really has a teacher personality.  Very friendly, positive feedback, ability to visualize and interpret situations.  At the end of the program I have the knowledge and skill to handle a truck and travel trailer in normal expected maneuvering in a safe manner.  I now have self confidence in taking a vacation and not have the concern of what terrible situation will occur before I get home.

Thank you RV Driving School and Mr. Mike Wertz for a wonderful experience.  You get an A+.
