I recently participated in the RV Driving School and had a great learning experience while developing the skills needed to drive the 30’ Holiday Rambler Motorhome we own.
My instructor:  Mark Obtinario was awesome!  He was very thorough throughout my 2 days of instruction.  He covered all aspects of the pre-check so I could have a safe trip with tires checked, and all of the various engine parts checked.  He provided me with the skills I need to make safe turns in both directions, as well as backing the motorhome up so I could feel confident in parking in an RV Park space safely.
I will continue to take the knowledge and skills he provided me and practice driving our motorhome safely on trips.
Mark allowed me to learn from mistakes I made on the training course and feel ok with them.  He’s a great instructor.
My lesson was postponed a couple of times due to some health issues I incurred and the RV Driving School  was very accommodating when I presented the need for changes.
I will recommend the RV Driving School to anyone (especially wives of the primary husband drivers), who need to learn to drive their motorhome.

This is an extremely late response to my driving instructor — I apologize!  We have been on the road since the day after I finished the lessons and just now found the email my husband forwarded to me.

My apologies again, but I do not remember the gentleman’s name (Jordy Bender) that was my instructor but he was very understanding of my need to grasp what I was trying to accomplish before starting the maneuver as I am a visual learner.  At the end of the 2 days, I felt very confident driving our coach.
I have since recommended your school to people I have met on the road to give their wives’ more confidence in driving their RV.

Just completed the RV Driving School sessions with Jim Fischer in New Bern NC.  This was our first time behind the wheel of an RV (class A , 29ft Thor Ace rental).  The experience was exceptional and well worth the cost.  In addition to basic driving skills, Jim shared a wealth of real life experiences as a longtime RVer that will make our future camping experiences easier.  Jim is easy going and not intimidating.  The best thing about this course was that it allowed us (my wife and I) to do the driving rather than hearing theory or watching videos. That is what provides the confidence to keep practicing and stay behind the wheel.  We do not consider ourselves RV driving pros after taking this course, but we have been given what it takes to move forward with confidence and keep learning.  Lynn successfully backed into an RV campsite with me giving hand signals at the end of our second lesson … smiles all around.

Sharon, er, um, I mean Mrs. Claus and I received OUTSTANDING instruction and camping, trailering, and checklist tips. Tim McLeod is a wonderful and personable instructor with a great sense of humor which he inserts between most appreciated tips and suggestions. He is great to work with and Sharon and I are driving away with a great deal more confidence in our ability to safely traverse the highways and byways of this great country!

It is our pleasure to give you feedback on our recent RV driving lesson #L12343 taught by Michael Lynch.  
 
We purchased our RV in Georgia and had the ambitious notion of driving it back home to Massachusetts ourselves.  Since we are nubies at RVing and had no idea of what to expect we thought it prudent to take a driving course before venturing out.  Thankfully we made it home safe and sound due to the outstanding lessons we received from Mike.  Over the course of our journey, we replayed in our minds, the very helpful tips we learned during the lessons.  
 
We strongly recommend taking a course with the RV driving school to anyone venturing out in an RV.  If you’re in the Georgia area, you couldn’t find a better instructor than Mike to challenge you and give you the pointers you need for safe RV driving.

I wanted to let you know that Les was a huge help to me. He was patient and encouraging and provided so much great guidance and information.

After my lessons, we hit the road for a week and I had so much more confidence pulling the trailer, and was able to back up into some pretty difficult campsites.
My husband who is a seasoned drive was in the back seat, and he said he learned a lot as well.
I highly recommend Les to anyone!

We spent two days with Mike in the Atlanta area.
Mike was amazing! We feel that we would not have gained the confidence to start our RV adventure without his help. He not only spent time with us going over and practicing the skills needed, he gave us guidance on how to safely travel with our new RV. Thank you so much Mike! We highly recommend the lessons for anyone starting out.

Both my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two days of lessons with Dana.  It allowed  both of us to practice our driving with his instruction in a safe and pleasant way.  Dana spent time with my Wife and gave her the chance to figure it out herself but with hints and gentle persuasion.
This Wednesday, I had to take our RV into the shop to have the solar panels setup repaired and it required me to tow it over a hundred miles, during the entire drive I was asking myself “What would Dana do?” and I would remember his hints, suggestions and corrections and smile.
The two days have set us up to confidently pursue our dream of full-timing it next year.
