Tim was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I’m a teacher myself and I know a good one.Knowledgeable, Thorough, Patient, Smart, Insightful, Experienced, Friendly and an excellent communicator. He made great efforts to understand my specific need and went above and beyond to give me the specific training I needed. He searched out a perfect training area for our lesson on backing up my 26 ft trailer into a really small slot I have in a storage lot. I followed up today and slipped the coach right into my spot on the first try. Piece of cake, thanks to Tim.Tim is the best. If a student can give his teacher a grade, Tim deserves an A+++.I’ll send my friends and family, the next time he’s in California.

Tim did a great job of running me through skills needed to drive an RV safely. I was very pleased to hear I was already doing it right. It gives me confidence. He did show me how to down shift and the age distance to follow at highway speeds.

My husband, John Fanta and I just finished our RV Driving lessons with Tim Armstrong and just wanted to make sure to let you know how very grateful we are for Mr. Armstrong’s expertise and guidance in the maneuvering and proper alignment of our Class A RV. He is a wonderful Instructor!
Late last year, I had to drive our RV home while towing our Jeep for the first time, when my husband fell ill. I was extremely uncomfortable driving it in that situation. I knew that my priority had to be put on gaining better skills to become more confident in my abilities to handle our RV! Your RV driving school with Mr. Armstrong’s guidance has given me and my husband that confidence! We can’t recommend the RV Driving School highly enough, every new RV owner should take this instruction!
A grateful student,

My wife and I took driver training from Mr Herb Mulligan on 4 & 5 December 2021 in Gettysburg, PA.Instruction started immediately with a walk around the fifth wheel (5W) discussion of how we do our safety checks before departure. Herb showed us a number of items that needed to be added to our checklist without making us feel inadequate. Branching into our individual concerns and trepidation about towing a trailer, Herb was able to tailor our instruction to address those issues directly. After two days of driver instruction, both of us have greater confidence in our ability to tow our 5W. While we’re not experts by a long shot, Herb was able to communicate and instill the basic skills necessary to safely maneuver our trailer.Herb is one of the best instructors from whom I have ever received instruction. His ability to understand our concerns, communicate solutions combined with his unflappable nature make him an excellent driving instructor. Herb went way above and beyond during our instruction providing us assistance to identify and resolve problems with our 5W allowing us to continue and complete our course of instruction.Anyone needing to improve their driving skills in central Pennsylvania region could not find a better more qualified and professional instructor than Herb Mulligan.
Rusty B.My wife, Cheryl and I have just purchased our first, Class A motorcoach. Because our coach isn’t scheduled to arrive until the end of March, we decided to rent a coach and take driving lessons in advance of our coach’s arrival. Our salesperson at NIRVC, William Hopkins, recommended we take our lessons from Michael Lynch of the RV Driving School in Atlanta.
Having never driven a Class A motorcoach before we didn’t know what we didn’t know, and we hoped Michael could help us. It’s fair to say we were both a little intimidated by the thought of driving such a large vehicle but knew it was critical to gain our confidence before our coach arrived.
We just completed two full days of training with Michael and we both feel it would be difficult to overstate what a great instructor Michael is. By using a combination of “class-room” (in the coach) training and a progressive set of driving and maneuvering skills, Michael took us through the fundamentals of driving the coach and gave us a sense of comfort and confidence in our ability to safely navigate our coach when it arrives.
From a coaching standpoint Michael is fantastic. He is deeply experienced with the operation of RVs of all types and with large commercial trucks. His style is very low key, patient, thorough, humorous and consistently positive. Michael included just the right amount of personal experience with the skills training which really added real world context to the instruction. While Michael went out of his way to make sure we were trained to drive the coach, he also provided us with a wealth of information about owning, maintaining and servicing our coach. And beyond all that he did to train us, Michael is just a genuinely good person you enjoy spending time with.
We have already agreed we are going to re-engage with Michael and RV Driving School after our coach arrives, both to refresh our skills and to broaden our capabilities to include driving our coach with a tow vehicle. Needless to say, we highly recommend Michael and see him as a valuable, long-term resource in our future RV experiences.

As new RVers with less than a week of towing experience, we’re so glad we decided to take this lesson. Our instructor Aaron was experienced and knowledgeable. He first helped us fix multiple issues we’d been having with our rig and our hitch, which had been impacting our towing even more than we realized. As an instructor, he knew how to match the lesson to each of our skill levels and learning styles. Now we can hit the road with the basic skills we need to get started, and the ability to reason and navigate our way through difficult situations when they happen.

I am writing to provide my feedback on the above lesson that I had on 11/15 and 11/16 with Rick Bremmer, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Rick was very professional and promptly showed up at our agreed upon time. He walked me thru the items that I need to check on my Motorhome before getting on the road.
We worked on what we needed to cover each day, worked on the hand signals and then got on the road.
Rick made me feel at ease and helped me gauge my turns, parking, back/ins. On the second day, I drove a very long distance on a major highway. During the drive, Rick was telling me what to watch for, how to allow truckers to pass or me pass them, how to handle mergers, etc.
I am looking forward to driving our rig next week as we travel to California.
I highly recommend Rick to anyone considering a class with Rick. We started the class as student/instructor and ended it as friends.
Thank you

My spouse and I took driving lessons with Eric Mount on November 3 & 4, 2021 in Crossville, TN. Arrangements were made for Eric to provide the instruction where our newly acquired class A motor home was located because as new drivers we were not comfortable going to the Knoxville area where he is located. He was flexible and great to work with on finding dates that worked for the instruction. We utilized a supportive local move theater parking lot for low speed items and that was good. We then drove on both the local roads and the interstate to gain real world experience. While I have driven tanks and other large vehicles in the US Army, my spouse had not driven vehicles of this size. Eric did a nice job of explaining and guiding the technical aspects of our lessons and he built our confidence.Eric was a good instructor, he was personable and approachable and after the two days he was more than an instructor he had become a friend. We highly recommend Eric Mount and RV Driving School.Thank you,

My husband and I have been full time living in our 40’ fifth wheel trailer with a Ford F350 dually for the past five years. He has done all the driving pulling the trailer. About two years ago, I decided I wanted to learn how to drive pulling the trailer to help with the driving. I found RV Driving School through Escapees. I spent time reviewing their website and reading other customers’ reviews. After reading about RV Driving School, I decided I wanted to use them to teach me to pull the trailer. I then spent the past two years looking at their site to see if there were instructors near me as we traveled around. Finally, we were going to be in Livingston Texas and there were instructors there when we were. I signed up for the lessons and from then on received great communication from RV Driving School. We agreed upon a date and time. As it became closer to the date, I started having second thought that maybe I should not try. About a week before my lesson was to start, I met with my instructor, Tim Armstrong. He explained how the lessons would go and what I would be learning each day. He answered all my questions (there were a lot of them!) very patiently and with a sense of humor. I felt I was ready to start. The first day, Tim had explained that I would learn how to back up the trailer going into several different type of “campground” sites. I would also spend the first lesson driving in the parking lot learning how to go around right- and left-hand corners. I thought shouldn’t I learn how to drive forward first but Tim is the instruction and so I was not going to question his process. Little did I know I would be driving forward so much during the backing in instruction. So, the first day arrived along with butterflies in my stomach and tension in my shoulders. My husband drove us to the parking lot. Tim was ready for us even though we were early! We spent the lesson learning exactly what he said I would learn. He was extremely patient and knew when to have me take a break. Tim has a great sense of humor and a warm caring teaching method. I can not say enough about his wonderful teaching method. After the first day, I was ready for the second day. We arrived to the lesson and Tim started the day saying I was going to learn how to parallel park the truck and trailer (only 65’ feet). Through his instruction and patience, I was able to parallel park it after a couple of attempts. I then spent the next couple of hours working on turns, and more backing up into sites. There was about two hours left in the lesson and Tim said it was time to go on the road. So, he got out his map and laid out the route. Some how the route ended up being much longer than two hours. It was great experience besides driving straight on a highway – we went on country roads, narrow bridges over water, had to stop for fuel, and drive through large cities and small towns.I can not express enough gratitude for Tim Armstrong and the RV Driving School. Their level of professionalism along with a caring attitude made the whole experience a positive one.

I was amazed at how much ground we covered in our 8 hour session and just how much driving experience I got. I am recently widowed and wanted to determine if RVing would continue to be part of my lifestyle. I was very nervous, but determined to give it my best.First, my instructor, Eric Mount, assessed my driving experiences and we went from there. He took my experience of motorcycle riding, F350 dually driving and RV spotter blending all of this into his instructional approach. His positive approach and relaxed demeanor helped to alleviate some of my nervousness. His thoughtfulness and knowledge made my experience a success.I have now made my decision. I am keeping my RV and am confident that I can enjoy traveling in it on my own. I have been given an opportunity to continue the joys of our RV life even without my beloved companion. This was a priceless gift.Thank you Eric and thank you RV Driving School.Sincerely,
