My husband, Craig, and I wanted to thank you for helping us acquire the knowledge we needed to properly back up our fifth wheel. Our instructor, Frank, was nothing less than amazing. We learned more in the first twenty minutes with Frank than in the entire previous lesson. He is absolutely the epitome of professional and knowledgeable…especially in regards to fifth wheels.Our lesson in backing up was filled with valuable information. Learning about the axis and pivot point was a game changer for us. He taught me how to determine specific points to cue the driver to turn and taught my husband (the driver) how to catch up to the RV while still turning it in the proper direction. Craig has SO much more confidence now proving that with knowledge comes confidence.Having an instructor who is well versed in operating a fifth-wheel made ALL of the difference.Thank you so much for allowing us this opportunity.Sincerely,
Nancy B.We just can’t say enough good things about Bob Nelson! My partner has experience driving an RV and Bob gave him some excellent advise about noting the pivot point on our vehicle and some additional help regarding backing and parking. I, on the other hand, have no experience driving a vehicle of this size, and to be honest I was really apprehensive.
Bob was so helpful in explaining what I needed to watch while on the road, points on how to turn, change lanes and the distance I needed to stop. By the end of our second lesson I had driven on the freeway, in traffic, on a two lane road and through several towns. I am confident in my abilities and we are both delighted that we will be able to share the driving duties on our next trip. In addition to being so helpful, Bob is also just a really nice guy.
Gordon S.My wife and I are thrilled with our lessons. Randy ( and Kathy) went beyond our expectations in every way possible. My wife ( who was greatly intimidated by this venture) became confident and secure in her driving after beginning the lesson on the verge of being overwhelmed. The transformation was dramatic and substantial. Randy was patient, empathetic,IMG_59331641 thorough, linear, and tireless in his instruction. His method and manner incredibly professional. We also enrolled in the “know your RV” component which was crucial for us since we had no prior experience at all. We didn’t even know that our inverter wasn’t turned on. Randy even went shopping for items that we needed to be successful in our efforts. Kathy gave my wife hours of attention in the details of what needed to be done to travel efficiently inside our RV. We even dined with them each day.
They also welcomed our dogs into their fenced backyard so that they could get some exercise. We are thrilled!
We found the driving school invaluable. Dana was very knowledgeable and presented information clearly and in an interesting (and fun) way.
Although we realize we need a little more practice, we definitely have the tools to be safe and confident RVers.
