Doug & Karen D.My wife and I are new to RVing and have no experience driving with any kind of trailer. We have a diesel F-350 dually and bought a used, 38-foot 5th wheel. We were both nervous about taking the RV out on the road, so we signed both of us up for driving lessons; Mike Wertz was our instructor.
Mike did a great job. We both drove in town, on the highway, around tight neighborhoods, into gas stations, etc. We spent quite a bit of time backing both in straight lines and into a campsite. Mike was patient and thoughtful, tailoring our lessons to focus on what each of us needed the most. We’re certainly not 5th wheel driving experts but, after two days of lessons, we feel that we have the tools needed to hit the road safely.
We will do a bit more practice driving on our own then, five weeks from now, we will be taking off on our first cross-country trip. For us, the lessons from RV Driving School were a great investment. Keep up the good work!
Best regards,

Awesome driving class!! Our instructor, Trent, was so patient, very informative and a fabulous teacher!! As a former teacher, Trent was perfect; he laid out the plans for the day, objectives that we were to meet, instructed, plenty of practice and lots of positive reinforcement. If something did not go right (ex. Backing up through cones) he always came up with a different way to attack the skill. He was always about the student. Very knowledgeable about RV’ing and sharing his knowledge. A fabulous two days and gained confidence in driving the big rig. We’ll worth the time and money—Trent was the best!!!

Good Morning, I just wanted to provide some feedback regarding our lesson we had this week. Mac was a delightful instructor with plenty of patience and helpful throughout the class. We learned a lot from him and both feel confident driving and parking our RV. We would definitely recommend this class to anyone and may come back for more classes. Thank you!

I really appreciated Gary’s patience with our situation. We contacted them before the driving portion because we had a pretty serious issue because the upholsterer wasn’t able to get our passenger seat installed, so there was no front seat for Gary to sit. They figured out a solution and I was able to complete the class and can now brag that Gary liked my lane management and got me to parallel park.

Cathy & Greg H.Dear Mr. George Mayleben,
I would like to say a huge THANKS for the RV classes you presented yesterday, 3/16/22. Both my husband and I learned so much! You are a great teacher. I could listen to you for hours. And I did!! The 4 hours went by fast.Another big THANKS today, for my personal RV driving instructor, Martin Stevens! After my 4 hours of his patient & encouraging instructions, I feel CONFIDENT and CAPABLE of now driving our Newmar Ventana. Thank-you for offering these courses.
Sincere thanks,

Mike Lynch was a great instructor! He did a great job teaching me from the very basics to going serpentine around 9 cones and backing and cornering. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, but he taught me. I have had driving experience, from towing and backing trailers and driving some large trucks, but I still learned a lot, especially about proper mirror placement and how important that is.I feel much better about being able to put my 40 foot RV in the proper position in an RV park.

I am very pleased with the training I received from Jim Hailey. He was very patient with me and gave clear instructions on the different skills I needed to learn. His professional yet relaxed mannerism put me at ease and that greatly aided my ability to learn. He shared great tips from his experience as a driver and showed me how to apply them to towing a smaller trailer. I feel confident now about the trip home I will make when I pick up my trailer because of his training.Thank you!

Good morning, I didn’t see anywhere I could leave a review on your website so I thought I’d send it direct to you.
Our instructor was Carl Schunck. We had a fantastic two days and highly recommend Carl as an instructor. His patience and low key approach to the driving instruction was very reassuring. His friendly, positive attitude helped both my wife and I easily navigate some of the more demanding aspects of the training.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is currently driving an RV or anyone who is considering getting an RV.
