We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike Wertz and his driving instruction.  While my husband had some prior experience, I was a total newbie.  Mike ensured we both got the training we needed.  I now feel confident and able to drive our Tiffin Allegro and Bill feels better about his pre-existing and new skills.

Mike’s instruction was patient and exact.  His ability to reinforce each lesson with us by repeating the experience over and over was great.  We still need some practice of course but expect to get a lot of that over the next few weeks.
We are so glad we found RV Driving School and had Mike as our instructor.
thank you,

We (my wife and I) found this course to be very useful.  We are first time RVers and have no experience driving vehicles as large as our new Class A motorhome.  We intentionally sought out some challenging actions (fuelling up, getting into freeway congestion due to an accident and slaloming around poles in an empty parking lot) because we knew we would be able to get help from our instructor (Rick Stewart) should we get in a bad situation.
We learned what we needed and had enough practice to be confident as we head out on our new adventures.  Very worthwhile, thanks to Rick.

We received our RV driving training on our Newmar 40 foot Dutch Star. The driving instruction was excellent. Our instructor, Randy, was knowledgeable, a very effective communicator/listener, and achieved the right balance between Safety and Enjoying the RV life.

We learned a great deal about the RV and it’s systems, safety features, driving in close areas, on roadways and the interstate. Also parking the RV including backing into a spot.

I recommend the RV Training School, especially Randy,  to anyone purchasing an RV. If you start with safety first, then enjoying the RV Lifestyle becomes easy. Best regards, John

Jimmy was fantastic. First day was discussion and my mirrors needed serious adjustment. Then we drove rural and urban; very informative! Second day was various backing situations; fantastic again. Then more urban driving and per my request two different small gas station fueling. Overall Jimmy was very pleasant, put me at ease and was a great instructor. Highest grade. Will pass on your driving course. Thanks

My husband and I completed our class with Randy Stanhope, April 13th -14th, and have nothing but rave reviews for both the format and Randy.
My husband has been driving the RV, and has experience driving trucks, so getting behind the wheel of our new Navion RV was not a huge deal.  I drive a Kia Soul so my learning curve was steep.  It was my goal to be able to drive the RV and I am happy to say “mission accomplished”.
I really appreciated spending several hours reviewing safety, practical use and operational issues before even getting behind the wheel.  By the time I sat in the driver’s seat I felt confident to hit the highway.
Randy has an excellent demeanor and at no time did I feel I couldn’t ask a question or stop the training if I didn’t understand something.
I highly recommend this class to new drivers, and experienced, as everyone will learn something valuable.  I’ve already posted a favorable review on the Facebook Winnebago Navion/View Owners group page.
Thank you for your service.
Kind regards,
Lisa

I had many questions about the process of driving a trailer that I felt couldn’t be answered until I was physically behind the wheel. Rick Steward was very friendly, patient, punctual and professional. Having Rick by my side during the learning processed eased my nerves and provided the confidence to get out on the road and get a feel for handling my 35” travel trailer. I am by no means an expert at driving my rig after only two days, but I now have the foundation to safely control and navigate my rig so that I may continue to develop and hone my capability.

Thank you,
Jeremy

We are pleased we took the driver training course and grateful to have had an excellent instructor.
Patrick McDonald was very knowledgeable, Informative and patient.  Patrick had some great stories.
Driving the rig to Riverside and the hot weather made things that much more challenging.  We forged through with the help of our instructor and made it to the other side.
Thank you and Patrick,

We had driving school the weekend of 9 – 10 April with Herb Milligan in central Pennsylvania.  Herb was very accommodating to our schedule and provided great support over the two day class.  I asked him to focus on Nannette as she was a new driver and his coaching allowed her to quickly master the rig.  What we liked about Herb was that he challenged both of us and no matter the objective, if you did it one time or five times, he was very patient and very steady with his approach and presentation.  The class proved to be very beneficial to both of us and will give us the basis to enjoy our motor home for years to come.  Thank You!

I wanted to take a moment and thank Steve for the RV driving lessons. He was so patient and easy to work with. I was so nervous driving the 45′ RV, but by the end of day 2, I felt like I could drive anywhere. He took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I understood. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who wants to learn about driving an RV.
I’ve attached a video of me backing the “bus”.  If you are unable to access, please let me know and I can text it to you.
Thanks again,

I just completed the driving and backing class in Tucson (Lesson # L12897).  Clyde (from Shreveport) was my instructor.  He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Prior to the class, I had never even sat in the drivers seat.  I did not know how to turn the motorhome on and was intimidates by the size.  Clyde was very patient, reassuring and gave me the confidence to try.  By the end of my driving excursion,  I had driven approx. 150 miles, made several turns and backed my 45-foot motorhome into one of the most difficult parking spots we have encountered since going FT.  Earlier that morning when trying to spot my husband in getting out of this spot, I was about ready to give up and have a good cry.   Once, I backed into the same space (with Clyde’s assistance)that overwhelmed me earlier that morning, I realized it can be done!  You just have to go slow and trust your spotter 100% .I was amazed that I was able to get this monstrosity in this difficult space.   I truly appreciate Clyde and all he did to help me.

Thank you,
