So first off money well spent!
Philip was fantastic! Both my wife and I can not imaging beginning our journey (full time, first RV!) with out this valuable training. Here are some bullet points on Phillip:
- Safety was a top concern, for us and the coach as well as other drivers on the road.
- We had plenty of on the road time in various situations.
- Hills, city, roundabouts!
- Phillip was patient and thorough, direct in his approach to teaching and was not satisfied until we could master his tasks.
- We covered all the course material and he spent a good bit of time helping us understand pivot points, rear swing as well as what to expect when turning left or right with the coach’s behavior.
- We now have a much better upstanding of the air brake systems, HWH leveling and various components in the coach.
- We finished the course and left to begin our new life adventure fully confident we could keep our selves safe and thus around us.
Marianne and I are first time RV’ers, and we jumped in big time. Could not have done this without Phillip’s leadership.CheersLive-Laugh-Love

What a pleasure to have graduated from this 2-day course with the confidence I can drive my 40-foot coach. The instructor, Bill Anderson, was professional and patient. He gave an outline of what to expect each day and fully explained each maneuver we practiced. With a focus on making sure we are safe on the road; I know how to handle many real-life obstacles with assuredness. I would recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn how to drive an RV or improve your skill set to safely drive down the road.

I had the most wonderful instructor for my 2 daysof RV behind the wheel driving classes.
Emory Macy was carrying and flexible with me, as I had a lot of drama come up in my life after I signed up for the class. Emory was flexible to move the dates and location to make it work best for myself and his time.
Emory was patient, personable, keeping me engaged by bringing real life situations to the conversation of training. Emory provided me with some reading material, prior to class. This was all very good reminders of what we should know before we get behind the wheel to start our trip.
Thank you

We can’t say enough about how much value we got from our recent RV Driving School lesson with Mike Wertz! Mike did a fantastic job covering all the bases of what we might encounter: various scenarios making different types of turns, how to go down a steep road, how to handle very narrow streets, how to navigate gas stations, backing in – even how and where to park when boondocking at a Walmart or Cracker Barrel. My husband got lots of opportunities to practice each skill, and I’m planning to make him a T-shirt with Mike’s famous “Look and Learn on Every Turn” emblazoned on it! By the end of the 2 days, my husband felt so much more confident and in control.Mike was super friendly, professional, knowledgeable and encouraging. He instantly made us feel comfortable and treated us kindly and with infinite patience – even when I asked him a million questions. He had so many good tips about things like joining an RV specific Facebook group, using the satellite option on Maps to plan ingress/egress, and using checklists. He also helped us add to our list of warranty repairs – with a new RV, we just don’t know what we don’t know, and Mike helped teach us some of that as well. After having just bought a new RV, the added expense of the drive school was a bit daunting, but we feel that it was worth every single penny and we are so glad and grateful that Mike was able to fit us into his schedule. From our first online inquiry to the final receipt of our program completion certificate, the RV Driving School has been a pleasure to work with and we will highly recommend you to fellow RVers! Thanks so much

I was able to loose the fear of driving my Motorhome. Steve was patient and answered all my questions.I wished the he had a practice place. I was not able to find a secure place on my own. We went to a parking lot of an old store and we where asked to leave. Could not practice baking into a campsite. Did not practice at another place.Practice on city streets and the highway was great.Sincerely
Our time with Herb was very beneficial to us and we feel much more confident and comfortable driving the coach.Herb was very flexible and contoured our training based upon our needs. It was a lot of fun, too!In would recommend Herb and RV Driving School to all drivers. Thanks,
Good morning. I wanted to take a moment to thank my instructor Joe Powell. As you can imagine, I was quite nervous driving our 37’ motorhome. My husband is the main has always been the main driver, but as we plan on embarking across the US, I felt I needed to be prepared to drive. Joe’s instructions with turning, backing, stopping and driving were detailed,
yet understandable. He was patient, answered all my crazy questions, related to driving or not, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Once he instilled the basics, safety and emergency techniques, he took me out on the open road. Both side streets and highway driving. I felt so accomplished when the lesson was complete, I see many years of driving ahead of me. Thank you to Joe and the RV Driving School. As a final note, Joe was recommended to me by a friend and I have now paid that forward. I’ve recommended Joe and the RV Driving School to 3 of our RV friends. Thank you again.

This review is long overdue, which is solely a result of our schedule this past year. Hope you are doing well!! We think of you all the time!!!Ronit and I took Michael’s RV driving course in November 2021. We had just purchased our 32ft Class A and we were terrified!!!Michael’s response to our initial inquiries were timely and professional. He was very accommodating with our schedule and location limitations. He even secured a parking lot (nearby) at a local church for our lessons.Michal has an impressive combination of empathy, authority and humor. His knowledge and experience are without question. Yet, he is able to explain, demonstrate, and teach the necessary skills and safety precautions without intimidation. In fact, he is exceptionally reassuring and helps you to overcome fears and build confidence throughout the process of numerous driving drills and exercises. We use everything Michael taught us. He is the “voice in our head” on every trip. We VERY HIGHLY recommend him for ANYONE that is planning to get behind the wheel on an RV. His extensive knowledge will be beneficial (even for seasoned drivers). We are grateful for his service and feel blessed to have met him.Fondly

My wife, Kelley, and I were totally satisfied with our training sessions with Dana Baker. He was well qualified, a treasure trove of useful information, and exceptionally patient. His only concern was that we had all of our questions and concerns addressed and that we were exposed to every possible driving situation imaginable in order to make us confident in handling our 41 ft coach.
We would highly recommend your organization, and Dana in particular, to anyone that is new to driving a large RV. Frankly, we can’t imagine what we would have done without the invaluable training we received.

The RV Driving School far exceeded our expectations! My husband and I are completely new to the RV experience and we were both really intimidated by the prospect of handling our 41.5’ fifth-wheel behind a truck we were equally inexperienced with! The thought of backing into a space filled us both with fear and dread! However. our instructor, Dana, was wonderful and gave us many helpful hints as well as lots of practice both on the road, the interstate, and in an empty stadium parking lot! Plus, we had to re-park our rig back into our spot at the end of each day’s lesson! We each were noticeably more relaxed and confident by the end of each of our turns behind the wheel! I would HIGHLY recommend this RV Driving School for anyone new to RVing, especially if you too are intimidated by the prospect of backing into spaces, making turns at intersections, even maneuvering through gas stations or truck stop weigh stations! I consider this class ESSENTIAL, especially for us wives who may be used to letting our husbands handle the rig, as we all need to be able at the very least of taking over should any emergency situation render them unable to drive! You will be amazed at what you are capable of learning to do with this training! Truly, it’s worth every penny, and you will even enjoy the experience! The Wallace’s
