Michael Wertz is an amazing RV driving instructor!  We are new to the RV life and just bought our first motor home.

Mike’s instruction will be invaluable as we hit the road comfortably and confidently.  He truly has an amazing gift as a teacher.  He was also extremely pleasant to work with.  Very calm and a pleasure to interact with.
We will definitely recommend this driving school with Mike!
Please pass along our thanks to Mike!

My instructor was ED. Ed is an excellent instructor and very knowledgeable. He explains everything in details. Very patience and do not let you go until you make it right. I enjoyed the two days of lessons with him. I highly recommend him to who ever wants to learn driving RV. Your company must be proud of him to be on your team.

I just wanted to say how pleased we were with the RV School and with Richard Stewart.  My husband and I took the two day class.  Richard met us right on time on our first visit.  He was immediately like an old friend.  He made us feel comfortable right away.  He explained what we were going to do each morning. He went over a checklist that we would be doing before each trip and talked to us about what to expect when we were behind the wheel of our truck towing our trailer.  As we have never towed anything near as long as out 35ft trailer you can imagine that we were a bit nervous.  By the second day, we felt focused, though much more confident about driving on streets and in situations that we might get in.  Parking is a bit more complicated, but with encouragement from Rick, and with continued, consistant practice we should be able to master parking just fine. Rick was thorough in what to concentrate on, where to position the vehicle when driving and parking so that we can safely maneuver, and what to consider when setting up and taking down.  He offered advice on how to take care of the trailer and its components.  It was such a pleasure to have him teach us.  We will be living in our trailer full time starting December 1 and we hope that our paths with cross with Rick again in our travels.  We had a great, though exhausting, time.
Thank you for this service.
Sincerely,

Peggy and Ray B.

I’d like to say that Bruce was very calm and collected, and his demeanor was very positive and reassuring. He provided me with great coaching and feedback and did so positively and honestly. He gave really good tips and information that was substantial to help me feel more comfortable and confident with maneuvering a 38′ RV.
Thank you for the chance to provide feedback.

I wanted to let you know how pleased Chuck and I were with the time we spent with Franklin Gilyard.  He was very patient and very kind and very knowledgeable.  He reviewed safety items with us as well as answered our camping related questions.  We learned a great deal and will drive our travel trailer with much more confidence in the future.
Thanks,

Coletta and Chuck D.

I had such a wonderful experience with Michael Lynch through the RV driving school. He did a great job making me feel comfortable behind the wheel, and took the time to make sure I understood the ins and outs of driving such a big vehicle. He went above and beyond to give us recommendations on travelling with the RV, and it was very clear how knowledgeable and experienced he was. I highly recommend this training to anyone needing to drive an RV, it’s a huge confidence booster and so valuable!

Thanks again!

Sorry for the delayed response but just came across your email again as I was cleaning out my inbox this week and thought I owe it to Bill to provide feedback. So here it is:
My wife (Jane) was very comfortable with Bill and certainly was more willing to take instruction from him than from me! =) Bill was very professional while still being very personable. He is a patient instructor who understands well when to point out the error after the fact versus mid-action so as not to create chaos or panic during any action that Jane was in the process of completing.
Bill is also very open to input from his student (and bystanders) and I think we both learned a thing or two during our 2-days of instruction. For example, I asked about his experience with applying the air/parking brakes while in motion, which was suggested to us by a freightliner rep at a previous rally (but that we had never tried doing). So Bill helped us perform this test to get an understanding of how that works and, I think, will incorporate this into his training for future students. Knowing that option is available to us and not being afraid to use it is great feeling!
The cost of the training is certainly justified and Jane often tells friends, now, that her training made her very comfortable in the driver’s seat–the one in which she had never sat before this particular weekend. I look forward to getting her in that seat more often now so that we have the option to travel further from home of a weekend.
Thank you and Bill for the lessons and we hope to run into Bill again down the road!
Sincerely,

Bill (& Janie) V.

It was an excellent lesson that exceeded my expectations.  Mr. Johnson had great pointers on proper frame of mind, planning for trips, parking, turns in tight spaces, driving through sharp curves, driving on small roads, and highways.  He explained how the manual shifting worked on our motorhome which I didn’t know existed or how to use.  He gave great pointers on driving on hills/mountain roads and particularly on coming down hills safely.  We discussed driving in bad weather and difficult areas such as construction zones.  We even practiced driving through a tight traffic circle.
I feel more comfortable driving now and I believe my wife is more comfortable also.  I took away lessons on which to practice and slowly increase my driving proficiency.
Mr. Johnson was a terrific instructor and I would recommend him to anyone.  This course should be required for all motorhome drivers.
Thank you.
