Since my lesson on 3/24/2023, my husband and I have both had a couple chances to back up the rig now. These events are going much smoother now, due to Brian Revard’s lesson, and we thank him for that! Brian taught us a few things that make a big difference. He taught us the spotter’s job is to help the driver get to the right starting point – and where that is for different backing up scenarios. Then the spotter’s job, in my words, is to relax a bit. Warn the driver if they are going to hit something, but the backing job from here is on the driver’s shoulders. That is already a big help to us. Brian also taught us a couple spots on our rig to note. When we can see those in the side mirror, then we are angled correctly. It’s key that these are unique to our rig, not just some general concept. I need more practice, but overall, we’ve found Brian’s lesson well worth the price.Thank you for providing this service! Igor A.Tim Kyle is a very courteous, positive and listening instructor.
He took time to listen to what I needed, observed what I was doing, and adjusted his lesson-plan accordingly.
I had two very pleasant half-days with Tim, and, after two lessons, I feel pretty confident I can handle my large long 5th wheel RV, even being an absolute beginner in the RV-ing world.

Per your request – here is my review of the L14054 Driving Class I took at the FMCA Rally in Perry, GA. The bottom line: I am so glad I did.I was a little apprehensive when I decided I should learn to drive our 36-foot motorhome. It was intimidating to sit behind the wheel and know I would be on small backroads and major interstates and everything in between driving this behemoth. Friends asked why I didn’t have my husband teach me….my response….I wanted our 42+ year marriage to continue.
All that being said, it was the best thing I paid for since buying the motorhome. My husband did sit in on the classroom and drove in the dining area of the coach during my “on the road” training.
George did a very good job or explaining the ins and outs of driving the motorhome from a classroom perspective. His 5 safety principals are still in the back of my mind, as well as maintenance, brakes, tires, weight, using mirrors and cameras correctly, and many other topics to keep us safe on the road. This was a very important part of the “lesson”.
My on the road driving instructor was Chuck Urwiller, I can’t say enough positive things about him. He made me feel relaxed behind the wheel, without relaxing my guard. Before we left for our 85+ mile long driving lesson – we took a walk around the coaching where he showed me everything I should be checking to make sure we are safe on the road. Our drive included 2 lane roads, 4 lane roads and an interstate highway. We encountered a broken down “big rig” blocking most of an exit ramp, he taught stopping away back, to back sure he was broken down and how to maneuver around him. We pulled in and out of diesel lanes at a fuel stop, getting the vehicle weighed, getting on and off exit ramps, driving through the center of town-traffic lights, tight turns and all. All of these enforced George’s 5 safety principals and everything else we learned in class.
I feel much more comfortable behind the wheel and thank Chuck for that. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, relaxed and had a great sense of humor. The fact that we used our own RV for the lesson personalized the experience and made this a highlight of my Perry, GA FMCA Rally week and why I would highly recommend this course, and Chuck in particular, no matter how long you have owned your RV.
Thanks to everyone who made this a highlight of my whole FMCA Rally Perry, GA experience.

My husband and I hit the jackpot by having Ed Planas as our driving instructor!
We have only had our RV for a few months, and while my husband has driven several times, I had never been behind the wheel and honestly was quite nervous to even try to drive. Ed put me in the driver’s seat first and after a few times around the parking lot, we were off and into traffic. He was patient, gave clear directions and really boosted my confidence from the outset. I couldn’t believe that two hours had passed when it was time to switch drivers! Ed gave excellent suggestions and directions to hone my husband’s skills behind the wheel, all the while keeping us comfortable and confident in our driving. Ed was especially patient teaching me to back into a parking space- not too easy with a 35 foot motorhome- but I did it! We learned many tips about keeping ourselves safe on the road, how to care for our RV, and many other topics as we traveled around Phoenix and Tucson.
There are not enough words to describe the amazing experience we had with Ed as our teacher. He is an outstanding ambassador for the RV Driving School, and earns our highest appreciation for the time he spent with us. We are ready for our cross-country journey as safe RV drivers!
Sincerely,
Don W.
The experience that my wife and I had with Jordy Bender was outstanding. He not only taught us driving technique, but familiarized us with features of our coach that we were not aware of. Jordy also explained the WHY behind his approach. This was so important to us. Really solidified the training.
I would highly recommend your course to anyone who asked.
Great job.

Rick for Lake Havasu is great. Very easy to be around and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the whole time and feel much more comfortable maneuvering my fifth wheel now, especially backing into spaces and just baking in general.Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about Rick or your program. Excellent

My wife, Candy, and I recently completed your two day RV training course with Tim McLeod. While we have been pulling an Air Stream since 2015 we realized that driving a 35 foot motor home would present different challenges, and risks, so decided to invest in some professional training. Luckily we found your company and Tim. From the outset we were comfortable and confident with Tim because of his friendly, relaxed, experienced and non-judgmental approach. The detailed walk thru of our Forest River Berkshire 34b, coupled with lessons learned, were extremely informative and valuable. He expertly guided us through dead zones, turning challenges, both left and right, serpentine turning maneuvers and backing to line up left/right were great experiences. Equally beneficial was the hands on driving experiences on both interstates and back country roads that presented narrow roads, curves, hills, various traffic congestion and changing speeds. Though stressful at times it was the experience we needed and as Tim said, proved what we could handle and boosted our confidence. We know that “experience is the best teacher, and that confidence will increase with time but at least your program, and Tim, put us in a good place. A worthy investment. We can’t thank Tim enough for all that he taught us.

Micheal was great! He started the day with an extremely informative classroom instruction which was invaluable when i started the actual driving. His driving instructions and way of building up to the more involved skills was a great way for me to master the skills. I felt ready to drive my motor home away from the safety of his parking lot.I highly recommend Michael as any level driver’s instructor.Thank you

We were pleasantly surprised with our last minute replacement driver instructor. Taylor Reilly exceeded our expectations and put three novice drivers through the paces while balancing the different personalities and opinions. Well done Taylor! — IMG_94236366

I wanted to leave positive feedback for my lesson with Geoff on Saturday April 1. From start to finish, he was professional, yet patient. The time was completely filled with practice, solid information and lots of good tips to help me back in my small camper. I definitely got my money’s worth, and will consider calling on him in the future to help me further my skills. I would recommend Geoff without hesitation to anyone needing RV driving lessons.
