Jordy was my instructor and I have to say that he was the most kind, patient and knowledgeable instructor one could have. He gave me advice based on his knowledge and what people might say, basically the pros and cons of his knowledge, which I appreciated. He told me what to expect from what others might say as opposed to what he taught me. The proof was in the pudding when I asked my neighbor (before the training) who was a 20 plus year teamster to re-park my camper when we got the training done and he came over to assist after I told him I wanted to attempt to park my camper. He threw advice at me and Jordy told my neighbor that I can only listen and hear one voice. I “aced” backing my camper up to my parents driveway (which the delivery person who delivered the camper backed the camper into my parents roof and parked it crooked and so no one could park on that side of the driveway for months.) I also had another incident when Hitchman’s auto and RV repair shop pulled one over one me by getting me to purchase a new sleeve for my sway bar tow package, Jordy assisted me with the company as to why they basically lied and forced me to buy this new hitch that I didn’t need. They also didn’t have my camper leveled and Jordy went to bat for me that they needed to get the camper leveled. They also fought with me about the sway bar and Jordy set them straight. All things I would have just let go, but Jordy wanted me to be safe and legal. I was absolutely terrified of driving the I17 even without a camper, but he thought I did so well with maneuvering the back up of my camper that I could handle the I17 mountain up to Sunset point and back down the mountain. I was nervous and white knuckled all the way up but ‘Jake’ had my back all the way down (Jake is now my truck’s new name because Jordy’s wife calls the Jake brake…Jake). Jordy made me feel super confident in driving my 32 ft long camper up and down the mountain and I feel good about driving the city streets. I wish there was a bit more time to practice with an instructor but I am good where I am now. Even though I previously purchased a bunch of stuff I needed for my camper in preparation for the training and getting on the road. Jordy set me up with some purchases as far as safety and security went. He patiently walked me through my entire camper interior and exterior and showed me how everything worked and how something may not work. He offered his number for any future phone calls if anything arises. I really appreciate Jordy and the RV driving course. Thank you!
