Wow, the class certainly exceeded all my expectations. Michael Lynch was a pleasure to work with and was extremely accommodating when we had to reschedule the class a few times – first due to a repair taking longer than expected, next due to our truck mirrors not extending far enough, and second time was due to a dead battery making the hitch inoperable. Finally the big day arrived and I was really looking forward to it. So many of the practical tips apply to all types of driving, not just when pulling a trailer (we have a 27’ hitch tow). Although I had a fair amount of time prior to the class with pulling the trailer, I was extremely anxious when confronted with tight spots like the gas station or narrow roads…like sweaty palms anxious. And backing up? Forget it!! Michael was able to trouble shoot my backing problems being related to my not knowing when the trailer and truck were straight. He put a bit of painters tape on the front of the trailer to make a spot for me to line up the trucks back corner with the tape marker and from that point on we where golden. At his suggestion, I got some self adhesive reflectors to replace the tape and it looks great. It was a wonderful experience and well worth the price. I think it should be mandatory for anyone that is new to RV driving. The highway is a heck of a place to be figuring it all out for the first time.
